Yellow card vs the Red card
I always fear that our early starter, now a Junior Infant would get any of those cards. I always tell her to be good, listen to your teachers and do what they ask you to do. But she always assures me that she is always good. She even is the most attentive pupil in the class, most hardworking and is always the one who gets the praise. Well, the teachers did prove us that.
The coloured card system works just as the card in a football match. You will get a yellow card as a warning for misbehaving. Two more of that then you will get a red card, which requires the parents and the school principal to meet. I am just happy that though my little girl is grumpy in the house, she knows where to put herself or stand when she is outside or at school. She is well behaved and we do hope that she will continue to be good. Kids are hard to tame when they grow up and start to have a mind of their own. That what we say will always be against to their wants. Fingers cross that we should be able to keep up with the way we discipline our children.
